Renewed Mind

Renewed Mind

What is meant by "Be transformed by the renewing of the mind?" Now remember, I want the full dimension revelation of this concept, and if you will, please provide Scripture references for your revelation and comment.
It is my strong belief that the revelation of this passage is key to supernatural breakthrough in every aspect of life and living the blessed life.

  1. Transformation...Change.. A turning from old things imparted, taught and that which had become a pattern or lifestyle according to how we were raised and the way society/the world shaped, formed, dictated to, and impacted our lives unto action. Being transformed by the renewing of the mind is action taken individually taking on the mind of Christ and living, functioning and moving in Him. being lead of HIS Spirit apart from our own fleshly wants, desires and appetites. Healing, deliverance, maturation, training, submissiveness and accountability must now be the lifestyle, duties, and responsibilities of our faith journey. The old man must die completely as we come alive to a new place of understanding, wisdom and insight into the hidden things, mysteries and secrets of the Kingdom of God. Fully embracing sonship is the renewed mind in which apostolic reformation will cause us to live our lives in Kingdom alignment in which God can then freely speak and move through HIS mind by HIS Spirit .. a mind that now has the capacity to comprehend the revelation and foolish things that confound the wise...even as HE speak in parables. Forsaking our will for HIS and willing to be taught and trained as HIS disciples unto kingpriesthood... ..Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Phillipians 2:5-8 The renewed mind is an obedient mind, and Jesus was our example of that, even as HE cried out in the garden for the cup to pass from HIM... as HIS mind renewed and HE even the more took on the Spirit of HIS Father with the desire to please HIM and to show forth HIS love for mankind... HE spoke with a renewed mind when HE said, "NEVERTHELESS".... not my will but thy will be done. The renewed mind is the mind that lives for Christ and will do whatever is necessary to carry out their earthly assignment for the cause of Christ and HIS Kingdom.

  4. To become transformed by the renewing of your mind is the foundation of Kingdom Culture. Romans 12 perfectly lays out the standard of living for the remnant here in the earth, and touches on every aspect of this life that we are living. For example, verse 12 states that we are to be rejoice in hope, remain prayerful and patient in our tribulation. This is an area where I had to diligently seek Him in as I often struggled and lost my peace as I went through turmoil. I would blame the enemy for every trial that I went through. After seeking His face in the matter it was revealed to me in Isaiah 45:7 that He is the designer of all things pertaining to my destiny and that I was being processed for perfection. He was completing a work in me, and it took for all of those situations to come about for my mind to be renewed full of understanding.

  5. Blessings Dad.
Upon reading this very scripture, immediately what I envisioned was a magnet or something or someone gravitating or being pulled with great force from a lesser power to a stronger and more persuasive power.
Considering the Scripture, the word "be" indicated that one must embrace change and one must be willing to become their own change agent after having received the gift of having the curse of the penalty of the curse of the law of sin and death removed by Christ. To "be" is a state of conformity; a state of choice and existence by one's own merit.
The control by the world or the world's systems and laws can be quite challenging for the carnal minded believer and I believe this was Paul the Apostle's plea and admonishment to them to leave the carnality behind and embrace at their own merit, and forsaking their own fleshly desires, by allowing that which is of greater power (those who have the renewed mind and who are free from religion and the world's grip) to draw them nigh!
If I may illustrate this, consider playing tug-of-war. The weak end is being pulled from one side to the other side where there is more power, strength, and unity.

  6. The word transformed is the Gr. word "metamorphoo." It means to transfigure or transform.

Math. 17:2 "And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light."

I am drawn to the word raiment in this text which is a word used to identify ones upper garment or mantle. The mind and the mantle co-exist together in order to function. When the mind is renewed it is a reflection that there has been a change in the mantle/anointing/grace that rest on an individual. It is impossible to obtain greater grace without the mind being transformed with it. So in order to increase in grace/anointing the mind must be fed and trained. It is the process of developing an ability to carry what has been given. Thus elevating in speach, function and giftings. The outcome of any movement is based on perception of the one pushing. The way you perceive a matter determines how you function. So renewing of the mind gives birth and activates that which has been placed within.

    Grace and Peace!!

  7. Romans 8:29 For those whom He foreknew He also destined from the beginning to be molded into the image of His Son, that he might become become the firstborn among many brethren.

My focus is on the word "molded" which is derived from the Greek word summorohos, which is a compound of two words, sun, which means "in union with", and morphe, which means "form, nature".
Together these words denotes the process of our inner man being formed or molded into union with Christ therefore fashioned into His own image.

The word "image" is derived from the Greek word eikon, which means "form or apperannce". As we become transformed into the expressed image of Christ we become a prototype, resembling the very nature if that which we have drawn from.

This transformation is key to how we function as kings & priest in the earth realm. A lack of understanding of how Christ functioned when he walked the earth and his current function as our great high priest, without this level of transformation one will set parameters in their mind, limiting how one manifest the Kingdom if God in the earth.

    Shalom
